Our Mission

While molecular imaging holds great promise for the diagnosis and treatment of human cancer, most promising imaging devices and contrast agents fail to reach the patients who need them most.

At the Translational Cancer Imaging Facility (TCIF), our mission is to provide a vibrant, dynamic infrastructure that supports the safe, efficient, and reproducible clinical translation of novel imaging devices, contrast agents, and radiotracers to battle cancer.

This unique facility will integrate specialized research resources, talented investigators, and an administrative organization that renders clinical translation both safe and efficient to expedite promising treatments to the patient.
